| Baku is a city with a terrible heritage of exploitation of oil production without any concern for the externalities of pollution.
The historical burden imposed upon the city of Baku most be confronted art a metropolitan and regional scale. The industrial rail tracks network becomes an asset for this vision. Baku has the potential to built up a metropolitan system that will provide both a sustainable capacity to grow and allocate growth in a rational way as well as using that growth to recuperate and regenerate the environmental destruction inherited by an insensible policy making history. Baku deserves to become a modern, developed, world class city, efficient, equitable and sustainable. |
